An annual family membership.  As a member, you will learn more about the Mail Pouch barn structures and signs, their locations, history and individual characteristics that make each one unique. You will also receive a full-color, quarterly newsletter updating you on these structures, interesting articles submitted by our members and exciting contests for you to participate in. You are also welcome to attend our annual Barnstormer's picnic held each year on the last Saturday in July at the old school in Belmont, Ohio.  Please be sure you fill out the membership form after you pay for this.

2018 BARNSTORMERS CALENDAR

Created by David Kennedy/Historical Landmarks in 2006. The building in Butler, PA, was built in 1914 by Orest and Rose Kellar, and housed a grocery store on the first floor and two apartments on the second. Size: 7” wide x 4 3/8” high.  Stock listed is all that remains.

KRISTOPHEL BARN WOODIE

Created by David Kennedy/Historical Landmarks in 2006. The barn was built in 1864 and is located in the village of Middle Lancaster in Butler County, PA, where it has been converted into an antique store. Size: 5 3/4” wide x 4” high. THE LONGEST BARN WOODIE

Created by David Kennedy/Historical Landmarks in 2007. The barn, which is 144 feet long, is the longest ever painted by Harley Warrick. The barn on Route 74 in Ritchie County, WV, was owned by a retired school teacher who was a friend of one of the original Bloch brothers. Size: 11 1/4” wide x 2 1/2” high.

Created by David Kennedy/Historical Landmarks in 2007. This barn, on old Route 68 near the village of Connoquenessing, PA, was built in the 1920s. Size: 6” wide x 3 1/2” high.

THE CARBERRY BARN WOODIE

Created by David Kennedy/Historical Landmarks in 2009. Based on photos taken in 1992, this woodie, painted on both sides, replicates a barn that stood just east of Everett, PA. It was built in 1916 and inherited by Helen Morgart Carberry and her husband, Stanley. Harley Warrick painted signs on both ends of the barn before it was torn down in 1992 to make way for a BP gas station. Size: 9” wide x 4” high (two-sided).

BUTLER COUNTY PA BARN WOODIE

Created by David Kennedy/Historical Landmarks in 2009. This barn, at the junction of Cooper’s Cabin Road and Route 356 in Butler County, PA, was built in the 1800s and once housed a herd of 25 Holstein dairy cows. The rear section was later removed and the entire barn was dismantled, cleaned up and rebuilt. Size: 10” wide x 4 1/4” high (two-sided).
