Regular meeting/picnic: Old Belmont School Gymnasium, 3rd and Brown Streets, Belmont, OH - From I-70 take 208 exit. Then take SR 149 south to the intersection of SR 149 and SR 147. Turn left on SR 147 and travel to the top of hill (Bridge Street). Turn right on Bridge Street, go 2 blocks and turn left on Brown Street. There is a Belmont School Sign on both Bridge Street and Brown Street, also Historical Marker signs, so it should be pretty easy to find.
Painting party: Barkcamp State Park Mail Pouch barn, just north of Belmont, OH. See this map for barn location within the park (black square near center of map, indicated as being "Antique Barn" in the legend).
|Time||10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Be sure to arrive early to trade photos, postcards, and stories with other Mail Pouch Barnstormers and to browse around our sales table. Registration begins at 10:00 am. Painting party after the regular meeting/picnic from approx. 1-6pm.|
Painting party: August 26-28 at the Barkcamp State Park Mail Pouch barn just north of Belmont, OH. We will be repainting the Barkcamp barn Friday, Saturday after the regular meeting/picnic, and Sunday, if necessary. Bring your kids, your grandkids, anyone who has a love for Mail Pouch barns and would like to become an "official" Mail Pouch barn painter! Approx. 1-6pm Saturday. More details to come....
Regular meeting/picnic: Our official club meeting will begin promptly at 11:00 am on Saturday. We will have reports from our officers and discuss future plans for the Barnstormers. Please don't hesitate to offer ideas or suggestions as we really do want to hear them.
Covered Dish Lunch. (11:30) Please bring a hearty dish to pass. Table service and beverage will be furnished by the club.
Guest Speaker: There will not be a guest speaker this year due to the painting party.
